It is with great sadness that we report the passing of R’ Yitzchok Yehoshua Hollander zt”l this past Motzoei Shabbos at the age of 68.
R’ Shiya, a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas, was the Chief Operating Officer of Alle Processing, Meal Mart, Ateres Chaya and Torah V’yirah. He was a noted baal chesed whose passing has plunged his family and friends into mourning.
R’ Shiya is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Hollander, his brother, R’ Shaya Hollander, and his children, R’ Zalman Leib Hollander, R’ Dovi Hollander, R’ Sendy Hollander, R’ Heshy Hollander, Mrs. Gitty Stefansky, Mrs. Chaya Friedman, and Mrs. Faigy Ginsburg.
The family is sitting shivah at 1626 52nd Street, between 16th and 17th Avenues, in Boro Park, Brooklyn, until Friday afternoon. Shacharis is at 7:30, Mincha at 7:00 and Maariv at 8:30.
