A wave of burglaries struck the city of Bnei Brak at the end of this week, and the home of the Modzitzer Rebbe was not spared.
On Wednesday night, the Rebbe’s apartment in the Osem compound in Bnei Brak, near the Modzitzer Bais Medrash on rechov Chabakuk, was broken into.
Among the items stolen from the Rebbe’s apartment were a silver leichter, a silver bottle, and a large sum of money.
Another victim of a burglary was Rav Englander, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Machnovka-Belz, from where a large amount of money was stolen.
