It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rabbi Mutty Cohen z”l.
Rabbi Cohen, who resided in Sanhedria Murchevet in Yerushalayim, was a son of Rav Henoch Cohen of Chinuch Atzmai.
Rabbi Cohen was a son-in-law of Rabbi Avrohom Moshe Farber z”l, the recently departed longtime rebbi at Yeshiva Rabbi Shamshon Raphael Hirsch in Washington Heights, legendary chazzan at the Ohev Tzedek shul on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and director of Camp Sharon in Tannersville, NY.
Rav Cohen was a mechanech for many years and is remembered by many campers who spent summers with him at Camp Ma-Na-Vu in the Catskills.
He is survived by his wife and their family.
