Rav Chaim Shlomo Leibowitz, rosh yeshiva of Ponovezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, underwent a serious medical procedure, under general anesthesia, yesterday, and is is need of rachamei Shomayim. The aim of the procedure was to drain blood from Rav Leibowitz’s brain.
Rav Leibowitz was first hospitalized three weeks ago at the intensive care unit at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer after falling at his home in Bnei Brak and injuring his head.
Rav Leibowitz is under the close observation of doctors, who are concerned for his health. He has shown improvement, as the recovery process continues.
All are asked to daven for Rav Chaim Shlomo ben Tzaita Leah.
